Arwel Treharne Morgan studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he won major prizes for both voice and piano. Whilst at the Academy he won the MOCSA Young Welsh Singer of the Year Award. He has appeared in Masterclasses with Sir Geraint Evans (televised), Ileana Cotrubas and Dame Joan Hammond, and participated in the Young Songmakers Almanac Masterclasses.
